Governor gives out 80,000 chickens, 100,000 bags of rice for Christmas

The governor reportedly handed out cash gifts along with 80,000 chickens and 100,000 bags of rice to some citizens of the state for the purpose of the upcoming Christmas celebration.

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has stayed true to his word and continued with his system of “stomach infrastructure” in the governance of his state.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) had accused Fayose of using “stomach infrastructure”, through bags of rice, to buy the votes of the people and in apparent retaliation, he appointed a Special Adviser on “stomach infrastructure” soon after his inauguration in October.

Fayose however stated that the move was necessary to enable him continue with his welfare policies in the administration of the state.
