According to emerging facts, while the lady, Deaconess Eunice Elisha Olawale was doing her early morning preaching in the area, an Islamic cleric said to be an Imam in charge of a local Mosque, ordered the woman to leave the area but when she went about her preaching, he ordered some boys to chase her away.

In their zealousness to please their Imam, the youths began stoning the woman whose husband is a Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and even after she fell to the ground, pleading for help, the boys kept stoning her while the Imam watched, till she gave up the ghost.
