The reports reveal that the 6 seminarians of St. Joseph Major Seminary, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom died, with 10 others seriously injured in the fatal accident that occurred in Enugu on Monday, February 22.

The young men had reportedly been travelling to Enugu for a Community Encounter program when the vehicle they had been traveling in somersaulted after one of their tyres burst.

Their corpses have reportedly been deposited at the mortuary with the survivors rushed to a nearby hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.
