Several acts such as Adewale Ayuba, Remi Aluko, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, and Oritsefemi performed at the event.
Ibadan based Fuji star Taye Currency held his 40th birthday party at the ancient capital in Oyo state. While his birthday ceremony was attended by numerous people, including the former first lady of Oyo, Kemi Akala, Lawyer Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), and several other big shots in the society, two people were conspicuously absent.
Fuji juggernauts K1 D Ultimate and Pasuma Wonder who are close to Taye Currency were not at the party.
When asked by Encomium Weekly why they were not at the party, the Fuji act stated that he did not invite them. Asked why he did not reach out to them, he gave his reason.
"I never wanted them to think without them my show would not be successful. I didn't invite K1 and Pasuma because I wanted it to be Taye Currency's show, not K1 or Pasuma's show" he said.
Other acts such as Adewale Ayuba, Remi Aluko, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, and Oritsefemi performed at the event.
Taye Currency said he called both K1 and Pasuma and explained to them why he did not call them for his birthday party.
The Fuji act revealed that Pasuma called him and told him that he will organize a party for him. The party was initially scheduled for April 11, 2015 but it has been moved because of the general elections.
