Over the years, Nollywood has provided us with amazing TV moms.

Some of them are strong-headed, cool, others are dominating, but after all said and done, they have given us reasons to laugh with their outstanding performances on TV.

Today, August 15, 2016, Pulse Nigeria is sharing top five TV moms in Nigerian entertainment history.

1. Ngozi Nwosu

Ngozi Nwosu on "Skinny Girl in Transit" is of course dramatic, and a typical Nigerian mother, but we can't deny she wants the best for her kids.

From her interpretation of the character Mama Tiwa to her gestures, Nwosu is without doubt one of the most entertaining TV moms ever.

2. Patience Ozokwor

Ozokowor's character in the 2013 movie "The Proposal" is entertaining and hilariously relatable. A high percentage of Nigerians have a mother who is consumed with thoughts of seeing their daughters married.

3. Abiola Segun Williams

Abiola Segun Williams as Titi K on "Tinsel" comes off as overbearing, strong headed, a control freak, and every other adjective you could possibly think of. But after all said and done, she only wants the best for her daughter Shalewa, who somehow sees her as a tyrannical figure.

4. Ufuoma McDermott

She wasn't exactly the average dramatic or overbearing Nigerian mother, but she interpreted the role of Mrs Lilian Wright just perfect enough to make our list. Her chemistry with daughter screams "mother-daughter" goals.

5. Moyinoluwa Olutayo

Olutayo presented us with the character Teju Phillips, a widowed mother of three, who has to deal with the challenges of raising her children while battling with the country's socio-economic challenges. She effortlessly presented us with a typical hardworking Nigerian mom, who loves her children, and would do anything for them.
