Nigerian actor Daniel K Daniel has emerged as Africa's best actor!
The talented won the 2016 AMVCA best actor for his role as Bossman, in Nigerian war thriller "A Soldier's Story."
The actor beat Majid Michel, Mike Ezuruonye, Van Vicker, Segun Arinze and Blossom Chukwujekwu to win the award.
The action film which earned him the award is directed and written by Frank Ogar, and also features Adesua Etomi, Zainab Balogun, Sambasa Nzeribe,Olumide Owuru, Baaj Adebule and Chico Aligwekwe (of Classic FM 97.3 Lagos).
“A Soldier’s Story” centres on Regina, a young female scavenger who rescues a soldier who had been left for dead. After protecting and nursing him back to health for months, the fighter finally awakens but has no recollection of who he is and his past. As time goes on, the soldier begins to develop feelings for Regina but as he begins to regain his memory, he starts to realize he might actually have a life in Nigeria.
