APC National leader shakes hands with Oyegun in public

Bola Ahmed Tinubu and John Oyegun have exchanged a short-lived handshake in public days after the two politicians fell out.

According to a report by TheCable, the political giants set aside their differences and shook hands at the launch of a book written in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The report further revealed that the pleasantries exchange was short-lived as the APC chieftains sat far from each other at the book launch held inside the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja.

Both Tinubu and Oyegun reportedly avoided further interaction during the event and after the event, which saw Oyegun and Tinubu mounting the podium for the book presentation.

It was also reported that at the end of the book presentation, Oyegun walked past Tinubu before exchanging handshakes with other dignitaries present at the occasion.

Oyegun and Tinubu fell out after the APC governorshipprimary election in Ondo state and both have avoided each other like a plague.

Tinubu had gone ahead to call for the resignation of Oyegun with ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Timi Frank, deputy national publicity secretary of the APC, backing Tinubu against the party's national chairman.
