The trouble was caused by a disagreement as to whether Dogara should decide on leadership positions in the house or if the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) should have its way.
There was also uproar in the Senate after Saraki went againt the APC’s wishes again and chose his loyalists to fill the principal positions in the upper house.
The APC had urged Saraki to appoint Senator Ahmed Lawan as Majority Leader but he chose Senator Ali Ndume instead.
