Ex-President says Buhari certificate saga is a ‘trivial issue’ [VIDEO]

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo stated this during the launch of his controversial autobiography, “My Watch” in London.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has dismissed the controversy caused by the academic credentials of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari calling it a trivial issue.

Obasanjo stated this during the launch of his controversial autobiography, “My Watch” in London.

The former President stated that during his (and Buhari’s) time, no candidate could get into the army without a Cambridge certificate.

He however added that if Buhari had somehow managed to by-pass the requirement in those days, he had since gotten enough training to qualify him for any position.

Obasanjo also urged Nigerian politicians to stop debating on trivialities and focus on real issues.
