‘PDP will be destroyed in 31 days,’ Peterside says

Peterside made the proclamation on December 30, 2015, during a special thanksgiving service organised for him by the APC in Port Harcourt.

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Dakuku Peterside, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will disappear from the state in the next 31 days.

Peterside made the proclamation on December 30, 2015, during a special thanksgiving service organised for him by the APC in Port Harcourt, Leadership reports.

“I am telling you today that we will reclaim our stolen mandate, believe me, in the next 31 days tsunami will visit Rivers State PDP. We are not afraid if there is a re-run today Rivers State we look out for the best, they will look out for change in infrastructure, development and change in empowerment,” He said.

“If you put the candidates of the major political parties and their manifestos side by side, definitely people will go with for a man of character, a reliable candidate that can realize the dream of our founding fathers.

“People will also look out how our team is like, if we have a team that is populated with militants and killers they will go for team that has people with good character, team that can make Rivers people to be a stakeholder in the governance of the state.

“So, I’m confident that we are going to win any re-run, we have proven our self to be men of character, and a team that fears God. We are the best candidates; I have said it before that there would be no manipulation.”

Peterside scored a major victory after the state election petitions tribunal and the Court of Appeal nullified the election of incumbent Governor, Nyesom Wike and ordered a re-run to be conducted.

Wike has taken his case to the Supreme Court for a final judgment.
