The judgment was given by the presiding Judge of the Abuja Federal High Court, Justice Okon Abang on Monday, June 27, 2016.

News of the appeal was disclosed by Ikpeazu’s Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos.

According to Appolos, Ikpeazu, also filed an application for stay of execution at the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
