Confirming the arrest, the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney general of Edo state, Barrister Henry Idahagbon said Peres Ejuni was arrested with two Ak47 assault riffles and is currently with the police.

Idahagbon also said the police have remained resolute and ready to arraign him before the court on Wednesday.

Continuing, Idahagbon alleged that PDP candidate, Osagie Ize-iyamu and Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion tried getting Ejuni released from police custody but failed in their bid.
