According to Ohakim, the economy was diagnosed with HIV but it was being professionally managed with anti-retroviral drugs.
He reportedly made the comments while delivering a lecture, titled “Leadership in times of adversity: Navigating Nigeria’s turbulent economy,” at a ceremony in the Ikeduru area of the state.
“There is no doubt that before the Muhammadu Buhari administration, Nigeria’s economy had been diagnosed HIV positive, but it was being professionally managed with anti-retroviral drugs,” he said according to Vanguard.
The economy is currently in crisis and the Buhari administration has repeatedly blamed the Goodluck Jonathan government for causing the problem.
Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi said, in August, that the country was also in recession during the Jonathan regime but it was covered up.
