American actor, Taye Diggs, has finalised his divorce with estranged wife, Idina Menze, a year after separating.

The actor and his wife of ten years are finally divorced, a year after separating.

Diggs married actress Idina Menzel, in January 2003 and the couple has a son, Walker Nathaniel Diggs, born September, 2009. The couple however separated in October, 2013 and a year later, they have finalised their divorce according to TMZ.
The celebrity website reports that Taye Diggs filed papers for divorce in November 2013 in New York and spent the previous year sorting out the finer points of their agreement - such as custody over their son.
A source close to the former couple told TMZ that the pair dealt with their separation as amicably as possible for their son's benefit.

The couple tied the knot in January 2003, after having met on the set of the original Broadway version of musical Rent, in which they both starred, as well as the movie version later on.
Taye has since moved on and is currently dating new girlfriend, Amanza Smith Brown, with whom he made a red carpet appearance at the BET Awards in LA in the summer.
