PDP wins 13 seats, APC 2 as INEC releases more results

INEC had earlier cancelled the announcement of the results due to the violence which had broken out in the state during the conduct of the rerun polls on March 19, 2016.

 

The results were released by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Aniedi Ikoiwak, at the INEC office in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, March 29, The Guardian reports.

The new results also show that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won two legislative seats so far.

Meanwhile, Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that the APC can’t win any elections in the state
