APC, PDP members flood Port Harcourt in separate protests

The protesters were said to have stormed the streets to express their grievances over different matters.

According to reports, the APC protesters were aggrieved that two of their elected members in the state House of Assembly have not been sworn in while the PDP loyalists said they were pledging their support for the  leadership of the House and the state government.

The protesters were said to have been dispersed by tear gas, which was shot into their midst by security operatives.

It was gathered that one of the protesters and a Channels Television cameraman were shot in the process.

While the journalist is being treated in a Port Harcourt hospital, the condition of the affected protester was not determined as at press time.
