The Air Commodore Ahmed Tijjani-Baba (rtd.) led committee, which was setup by the Bauchi state Governor, Mohammed Abubakar, to recover stolen funds, has recorded a major milestone.

Punch Newspapers reports that the committee has recovered a missing aircraft belonging to the state government, in Morocco.

Speaking on the recovery of the aircraft, the state Governor also announced that “The committee will now beam its searchlight on the ministry for local affairs and the State Basic Education Board to see how fund allocated to them was spent."

Adding that “Such example is the N2bn micro loans and others that were allocated to them, but carelessly spent leaving our pupils to study under the trees."
