The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), is set to go after the former Governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam after the state's former Commissioner for Finance, Omadachi Oklobia, was grilled for several hours over allegations of diversion of public funds, abuse of office, embezzlement and fraud while he was in office.

The former Governor of Benue State has been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

According to an insider in the anti-graft agency's office, Oklobia was invited to the Abuja office of the body earlier today, where he was interrogated where his statement obtained under caution based on his alleged complicity in the allegations, led to the decision to invite the former Governor.
Suswam will have his day with the EFCC on Monday, October 12, to answer questions on the same allegations.
