Fatima Atiku Abubakar was chosen by Governor Bindow Jibrilla on Thursday, August 6, 2015, as one of 22 nominees to be screened by the State House of Assembly.

Two of Atiku’s associates, Ibrahim Mijinyawa and Umar Daware, were also named on the list, according to Premium Times.
The list also contains the names of three other women, Shanti Victoria Shashi,Kaletapwa Farauta and Lilian Nabe Kayode.
