Party members in Badagry call on Tinubu to help curtail deepening crisis

The APC faction said government machineries are being used to persecute them.

Following the defeat of the former Lagos State Deputy Speaker, Honourable Kolawole Taiwo in the April 11 Assembly election, his supporters have cried out that they are being victimised in their constituency.

The supporters drawn from across the Badagry Division comprising Ajeromi/Ifelodun Constituency, Badagry, called on the All Progressives Congress National leader, Bola Tinubu and the Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to wade into the deepening crisis in their zone.

Speaking at a press conference in Badagry on Friday, June 5, they said are being persecuted by members who had engaged in anti-party activities that led to the “undeserved defeat” of the deputy speaker at the election.

“We have become victims of attack even on our private businesses,’’ they said.
