Group canvasses for Chris Ngige

His deep sense of patriotism, sincere devotion to duty as his commitment to improving Anambra development status remained unequalled despite distractions from some elements.

The sterling qualities of the former Governor of Anambra state- Chris Nigige was acknowledged recently, by a group in Lagos sate, South-West Nigeria.

A socio-cultural group, Anambra Patriots in Lagos, at its meeting in Lagos, called on President Muhammadu Buhari to give Ngige a political appointment.

They said that Ngige’s "selfless services to the people of Anambra State which earned him far reaching acceptance, with his firm, focused and sense of loyalty.”

Speaking to the press, Dr. Okpagu, the president of the group, through the executive secretary, Hon. Paul Eze, said: “His political antecedent speaks volume, having single handedly organised, sustained and funded the political structures of AC, ACN and APC in Anambra State till date, deserves to be rewarded with suitable appointment. “
