APC chairman, Oyegun condoles with Akwa Ibom Govt

The APC chairman said said there was need for thanksgiving because the situation could have been worst.

Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, National Chairman of the party in a condolence letter to Gov. Emmanuel Udom of the state, said there was need for thanksgiving because the situation could have been worst.

Odigie-Oyegun noted that the situation could have been worse as many lives, including that of the Governor, were rescued from the wreckage of the worship centre.

“Once more, please accept the deep sympathies of our party and be assured that our prayers and thoughts remain with you, the government and people of Akwa Ibom State,” Odigie-Oyegun said.

The APC national chairman also prayed for the souls of those who lost their lives in the incidence to rest in peace and wished the injured quick recovery.
