The Nigerian Army has reinstated 3,032 soldiers who were earlier dismissed for various offences.
Spokesman says 3032 dismissed soldiers have been recalled
The recalled soldiers are among 5,000 troops who were either withdrawn or facing disciplinary action.

The reinstatement was confirmed by Army spokesperson, Sani Usman on Thursday, September 3, 2015.
The Army had announced on August 1 that it would review all recent disciplinary cases but warned that it would not reinstate all “dismissed and deserter soldiers.
The soldiers were screened and those recalled are said to have undergone re-training at the Nigerian Army Training Centre in Kontagora, Niger State.
