Multi-talented British Ghanaian artist Eugene Entsir popularly called Eugy dropped a debut EP titled “Flavourz” on May 26, 2017.

Moving to London at a very tender age, Eugy had started messing with music early on learning to play the piano in church at age 13 and rapping at the age of 19. Together with his two sibling brothers, a young talented R&B group was formed – they called themselves the E3B (E3Brothers).

Eugy later pulled out of the group aiming to focus on rap. He has opened up for the likes of Trey Songz, pushing proudly African music to the world.

Eugy’s meet-up with UK based Hip Hop producer group Team Salut accentuated his skills as a rap and Hip Hop artist, with their association growing stronger with each collaboration even up till this EP, the group producing five tracks out of the six on the project.

The rapper’s 2016 hit song in ‘Dance for me’ featuring Mr Eazi, shot him up to new heights catapulting Afrobeats’ presence on the international front.

To show off his efforts, Eugy Official as he is called has come through with a debut project body of work, a 6-track extended playlist with a beautiful title in “Flavourz”.

Eugy starts off with a Caribbean flavoured track titled ‘Prize’,  His pre-released single ‘Give it to me’ featuring Ycee makes the cut, a mid-tempo groovy joint produced by Team Salut.

‘Hold tight’ is a beautiful R&B rendition from Eugy seeking for a woman’s affection, served on a mid-tempo beat.

Captain’ featuring Siza is a sweet collaboration between Eugy and the guest female vocalist, a guilty pleasure type of song housed on a really nice beat.

Rolling’  has him gushing about a female as ‘African beauty’ also, expressing just how much he appreciates the gracefulness of the  African woman in stature, looks and brains..

Eugy pretty much gives it all to the females, presenting himself as a hopeless romantic,as he praises the essence of a woman in every sense of it. He flexes his R&B and Caribbean  influences while leaving on the sidelines his rap prowess for this project.

Eugy is essentially a singer on “Flavourz”, and does a good job with it.

The EP “Flavourz” is danceable, groovy and emotionally relatable. You should check it out on Soundcloud.
