Fireboy teases 'Bandana,' a new song with Asake

Afrobeats superstar Fireboy has apparently teamed up with label mate and rave of the moment Asake on a new song titled. 'Bandana.'

The song was teased by Fireboy in a tweet on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

Asake has been on a roll in 2022 with his singles 'Omo Ope,' 'Sungba,' 'Palazzo,' and 'Peace Be Unto You' enjoying wide success. Fireboy is set to join forces with the red hot artist for his second release of 2022.

Fireboy's 'Playboy' was his first release of 2022 and it was well received. However, Billboard-charting act continues to ramp up efforts as he gears towards his third studio album, following the critically-acclaimed albums, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps and the Headies-winning Apollo.

Over the past few months, the singer has teased the completion of his latest album, and noted that Asa is a featured act on it. In March 2022, his superstar label boss, Olamide, jokingly threatened to release his protege's new album.

In Q1 2019, Fireboy was signed to YBNL. In February 2022, Olamide announced the signing of Asake to YBNL. Asake also told the story during his chat with HipTV.
