Ricci Martin, the son of late singer, Dean Martin, who is also the youngest in the family have been reported dead at the age of 62.

Ricci passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, report says.

The news of his death was disclosed by his family, who revealed the incidence to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the family, he died at his residence in Utah, though no detail concerning the cause of his death has been given.

Before his passing, the late singer tried his hands on many music projects which provided a competition to the works of his father, Dean Martin,

He dropped his debut titled 'Beached' in the year 1977, which featured Carl Wilson, a member of the Beach Boys, who was his brother-in-law at the time.

Ricci is popular for the hit song 'His son' and for writing a book titled "That's Amore: A Son Remembers", which talked about his relationship with his father, Dean Martin.
