Storm 360 boss appointed as GEJ's Senior Special Assistant on Social Media

Obi Asika will be in charge of President Jonathan's image and campaign on all social media platforms.

CEO of Storm 360, and influential music figure Obi Asika has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Social Media to President Goodluck Jonathan. The appointment was revealed yesterday, Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

Reno Omokri still retains his position as the Special Assistant on New Media.

Obi Asika has not made a statement concerning the appointment.

Obi Asika is one of the leading entertainment figures in Nigeria.

His imprint Storm Records was one of the labels that engineered the resurgence of urban music in Nigeria.

Acts such as Darey, Ikechukwu, Naeto C, Sasha, Pype, Sinzu made Storm Records a household name.

The entertainment company 360 was behind entertainment programmes like Big Brother Nigeria, and music reality competition.
