Several hours after the death of SurveyMonkey boss, Dave Goldberg, Facebook boss, Mark Zuckerberg has sent his heart felt condolence to Goldberg's wife, Sheryl, who is also the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook.

In a post on his official Facebook account, Zuckerberg noted that his 'thoughts and prayers are with Sheryl and her family as they go through the trying times.'

Zuckerberg also took time to eulogise the late Goldberg, who passed on at the age of 47, saying, 'Dave Goldberg was an amazing person and I'm glad I got to know him...I hope friends would join me by celebrating his life by sharing your memories of Dave on his profile as his brother, Rob suggests.'
"The management of SurveyMonkey have also released a statement on their grief over the death of their boss, Dave Goldberg.
'We are deeply saddened to announce that Dave Goldberg passed away suddenly last night. Dave's genius, courage and leadership were overshadowed only by his compassion, friendship and heart. His greatest love was for his family. Our sympathy goes out to them and to all who were touched by this extraordinary man. We are all heartbroken,' the statement reads.
