According to NAN, the court has also endorsed the appointment of Ali Modu Sherifas PDP National Chairman.

This is coming days after party chieftains embarked on peace moves to settle the differences in the party and move forward in preparedness for 2019.

The had been reports that the caretaker committee chairman of the party, Ahmed Makarfi and the embattled chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff agreed to hold talks to end the crisis.
