Kaduna State Governor-elect, Nasir El-Rufai has said that the incoming government of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari would ask corrupt politicians to return the public funds they had stolen while in office.
“We will politely ask those who stole government money to return the funds”
El-Rufai also said that Buhari’s government was set to inherit a huge debt from President Goodluck Jonathan’s government.

El-Rufai also said that Buhari’s government was set to inherit a huge debt from President Goodluck Jonathan’s government.
The governor-elect made the comments on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, while receiving members of the National Union of Textile Garments and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria.
“We will politely ask those who stole government money to return the funds. This is because the people, who are in government now, are there to work for themselves. But the APC government is made up of people who are ready to work for the masses and the betterment of the country,” El-Rufai said.

“We will work with the textile unions to ensure that the lives of the average Nigerians get better,” he added.
El-Rufai also assured the workers that his government would revive the textile industry in the state.
