‘Nigeria’s problems can’t be solved in a day,’ APC Chairman says

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun however assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari would not fail them.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun has said that Nigeria’s problems can’t be solved in one day.

He however assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari would not fail them.

The APC Chairman made the statement on Tuesday, June 3, 2015, after a meeting with Buhari in Abuja.

“We noted the fact that expectations are extremely ‎high and that the public expects a totally new dawn. On that score we told him we are with you, Mr. President; you will succeed because the entire party will be galvanised as one man behind you, to ensure that days into this presidency that Nigerians will indeed see that things are changing,” Oyegun said.

“All the problems cannot be solved in one day but what Nigerians want is to be sure that we are getting it right and that we are on the proper path towards addressing their long frustration towards ameliorating their condition and that is what they will get,” he added.

Buhari had mirrored the same sentiment earlier telling Nigerians not to expect miracles from his administration which would have to tackle years worth of rot in the country.
