APC sympathizes with president following sister’s death

The APC expressed its sympathies to Jonathan via a statement released by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed on Monday, January, 5.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended its condolences to President Goodluck Jonathan following the death of his younger sister, Nancy Jonathan-Olei.

The APC expressed its sympathies to Jonathan via a statement released by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed on Monday, January, 5.

The statement reads:

“We pray that God will grant repose to the soul of the departed, comfort the President and his entire family and give them the strength to bear their loss. We also wish the immediate family of the deceased God’s succour in their moment of darkness.”

52-year-old Mrs. Jonathan-Olei died in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on Sunday, January 4, after a brief illness.
