“We shall restore integrity to governance through the fight against corruption”

President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that his government will restore integrity to governance by fighting the scourge of corruption in the country.

Buhari also said that the change the country needs cannot be achieved on a bed of roses.

The president made the comments on Thursday, September 1, 2016, during an official visit to Osun State.

“We are determined to implement our change agenda by curbing excessive waste in government. We shall restore integrity to governance through the fight against corruption,” Buhari said.

“We are determined to deliver and rescue the country from bad governance,” he added.

Buhari also appealed to Nigerians to be patient with him while he fixes the country’s problems.
