Presidency reiterates stand to unveil ministers in September

The presidency has reiterated the president's stand on unveiling the list of his ministers before the end of September 2015.

 

The presidency has reiterated that the promise to appoint ministers in the month of September still stands.

According to a report by Saturday Tribune, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, Mallam Garba Shehu informed that Nigerians should give the president till, latest, September 30, 2015 for the Federal Executive Council to be in place.

“Nigerians should expect ministers this month as promised by the president. We are doing it. I believe the president should be given the benefit of up to the 30th of September,” Shehu said

On how soon the nation should expect the appointments, Shehu stated that “he [the president] decides, but I believe that once he said September, September ends on the 30th so if there is any reason for that not to happen, he will inform the nation.”
