3 ministers who are likely to be replaced by President

According to reports, Buhari has informed the Senate of his plan and might also assign some ministers to new portfolios.

Below are three ministers that will likely be replaced by Buhari:

1. Solomon Dalung:

The Sports Minister is likely to be replaced due to the controversy and outrage he has attracted since being appointed in November 2015. Dalung angered Nigerians when he said that the country doesn’t need to participate in the 2018 World Cup since it stands no chance of winning. He also said that the Super Falcons weren’t paid on time for winning the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations because no one expected them to win.

2. Amina Mohammed:

The Minister of Environment is likely to be replaced due to her appointment as the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations (UN).

3. James Ocholi: 

Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, James Ocholi died, along with his wife, Blessing and son, Joshua in a car crash which occurred along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway on Sunday, March 6, 2016.
