Man docked for alleged kidnapping, sexual assault
The Prosecutor, Insp Chinalu Uwadione, alleged that the accused committed the offences at Obele village, Badagry, on Sept. 4.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Oluyemiai Adelaja, who gave the remand order, said Sarafa should remain behind bars pending receipt of legal advice from Director of Public Prosecution.
He alleged that the accused kidnapped one Joy Ayomide Bello, kept her against her wish and had forceful sexual intercourse with her.
The offences, he said, contravened Sections 2 and 3 of the Anti-Kidnapping Prohibition Law of Lagos State, 2017, which prescribes capital punishment for convicts.
The offences, he added, also contravened Section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. (Revised)
Adelaja adjourned the case till Nov. 1 for receipt of legal advice.
