Ex-minister says audio message of her attacking Jonathan is fake [LISTEN]

Okonjo-Iweala made the denial via a statement released by her media aide, Paul C Nwabuikwu.

Former Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala

Okonjo-Iweala made the denial via a statement released by her media aide, Paul C Nwabuikwu.

It reads:

It has come to our attention that an audio recording of a woman pretending to be Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been circulating on various online platforms. In the contrived audio, the impostor makes several claims and expresses certain views which have absolutely nothing to do with Dr Okonjo-Iweala.

Anyone familiar with the former Finance Minister can confirm that the voice, the diction and the views are not hers.

The Nigerian public and media should take note and avoid being deceived by this inept and ridiculous gimmick. Thank you.
