The report revealed that three personalities connected to the acquisition were quizzed by the EFCC and they revealed the governor indeed bought the properties through the help of his associate, Abiodun Agbele, who allegedly brokered the deals.

An estate agent, whose name was given as Oyin Daramola and owner of Still Earth properties, were quizzed alongside Titilayo of Philberth company.

The individuals were alleged to have confirmed some of the claims by Agbele, who divulged information about the secret deals of the Governor.

It was also reported that although the transactions were handled by Daramola's Still Earth company, Fayose has refused to pay estate agency fees up until the time of filing this report.

Instead, he offered to pay fees through the award of contracts to the estate agent in Ekiti State to defray the commission on the five properties.
