Senator caught on tape boasting that he framed Kogi Gov’s Chief of Staff

In the leaked tape, Melaye accused his co-plotter of leaving him to spend his money in the war against the Kogi Governor.

Sen Dino Melaye

According to Sahara Reporters, Melaye told Muhammed Audu, the son of late former Governor of Kogi, Abubakar Audu, that he used his connections to frame them.

Audu was also heard telling the Sentator to mention Edward Onoja, the Chief of Staff to the current Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, adding that it was the only way to bring the government down.

In the leaked tape, Melaye accused his co-plotter of leaving him to spend money alone in the war against the Kogi Governor.

When Audu advised him to listen to the plea of the Governor and the Kogi elders, the Senator refused saying there can be no peace in Gaza, referring to himself as Israel and the Kogi govt as Palestine.

Sahara Reporters recently released a tape where Melaye was caught offering a bribe to Justice Akon Ikpeme of the Cross River State High Court.

The Senator had earlier alleged that some assassins made an attempt to kill him in his country home on April 15, 2017.
