Once again, Vogue Italia has put Nigerian fashion designers at the forefront of the international fashion scene. Thanks to the Talents on Set project, Nigerian designers are being put on display.
Declan Eytan, a journalist who’s works with Forbes USA and Vogue Italia, brought together some of Nigeria's finest talents in fashion design, styling art direction, modelling and photography, to be featured on the 'Talents on Set' project.
The spread, which is available on Vogue Italia, features pieces by Orange culture, Iamisigo, Tokyo James, McMeka, Kenneth Ize, Maxivive, Tzar studios, Gozel Green, Sisiano and Re. Most of the pieces are from the younger and more modern, urban brands.
In recent years, the international fashion scene has paid very close attention to the Nigerian fashion scene and encouraged various designers over the years with features in numerous magazines. This is another feather in the hat for the Nigerian fashion industry.
