The Nigerian designer who has presented collections from her eponymous brand on various runways locally and internationally speaks exclusively to Pulse TV in a recent chat revealing how she took a plunge into the 'artsy' world choosing her dream career; fashion.

"I knew I didn't want to go to medical school, I knew I wanted to study fashion" she told Pulse sharing how she seemingly tricked her parents into studying fashion even after refusing to go through school having passed her JAMB exams twice earlier but settled with a poly JAMB form!

A great illustrator, Tafiri shared her 'born again moment' at Yaba College of Technology as the wakeup call she needed to study fashion design ans with a prior knowledge of technical drawing, mathematics and more she set out to 'leave a mark in the sands of time' with fashion in her own way.

The foremost Nigerian fashion designer who realized her love for fashion at 3 attributed her early love for stylish pieces to her grandmum who used to make her clothes!
