Israeli based model Sofia Mechentner is trending as she's revealed as face of Dior at just 14 years!
French luxury goods brand; Dior has unveiled fourteen year old Israeli model Sofia Mechentner as its newest face.
The announcement is already gathering a lot of reactions on social media where people have raised their concerns over exposing the young girl to the 'wild world of modelling'.
The 14-year-old recently walked a Dior show this year wearing a provocative sheer gown which raised some eyebrows, only recently the brand tapped sixteen year old Lily-Rose Depp as face of their Fall/Winter 2015 Pearl eyewear collection
In the US, the CFDA has changed their guidelines to include an age-limit of models not younger than age sixteen for runway shows especially, however not all parts of Europe (and beyond) follow these same rules
According to a report by ABC, the contract (with Dior) is worth $200,000 which people see as another avenue to negatively impact the teen!
