Season 7 premiere finally reveals who Negan killed [spoilers]

After a long wait, fans of "The Walking Dead" finally gets to know the victim(s) of Negan's Eeny, meeny, miny, moe game from season 6 finale.

The show pulled off its most violent episode yet in "The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be," killing off not just one, but two series regulars.

Steven Yeun (Glenn Rhee) and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford) were brutally killed off the zombie drama on Sunday. While Abraham won Negan's random game selection, Gleen paid for Daryl's mistake.

After Negan's barbed-wire bat Lucille claims Ford's life, the survivors are warned not to react. Daryl Punchs Negan, and since someone has to pay, he kills Gleen for Daryl's deed.

With the death of Glenn and Ford, nine survivors including Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Rosita, Carl, Maggie, Aaron Eugene and Sasha are left with the task of dealing with  Saviors’ merciless leader, Negan.

Its season six finale episode had offered viewers their first look at Negan and his infamous Lucille, and ended with Negan playing a game to decide who would be the first to meet Lucille.

The show's seventh season will comprise of 16 episodes, and will air in two parts, with the first eight episodes  premiering October 23, and the final eight returning February 2017.

On October 23, 2016, AMC renewed the show for its eighth season, which will premiere in late 2017 and will kick off with the 100th episode of the series.
