Frimpong-Manso: I think one of my favorite scenes with the mother-in-law is the scene in the kitchen. For me, I think it's very funny. I think that's the first time you see the myth [mothers-in-law hate their daughter or son-in-law], and you sort of wonder 'what's going to happen?' Is she going to reprimand him? How is he going to react? And then it all begins to basically warm up into this beautiful relationship.

But I think my most favorite scene is when the mother-in-law comes into the kitchen and then he is choking, and she gives him the water, and later she is standing beside him and they look at each other and start to laugh.

I feel like there's so much information in there. The fact that she sees the fun in all of these is just funny.

Which character would win the viewers' hearts

Joke Silva: Going by the audiences reactions, usually, it's for the husband. They think that the wife is too troublesome. People behind me were saying "Ah, what's your problem."

Frimpong-Manso: I think that's why it was important for me to basically push the buttons when it comes to the woman. You know what? People expect the women to just give up.

The thing with women is that we are very sensitive and our attention to detail is like that. Men say things and they don't think they should be held accountable for it - "I said I was going to be here by 9 and I came by 11 - what's the big deal?'

But the woman would say 'but you said you were going to be here by 9?' Because we are serious like that. I think that yes, the husband would probably have it [Viewers heart].

Or, the wife's help, which is Chris Attoh. He plays stupid and he plays it beautifully. I think a lot of people would be surprised with way Chris handled his role because I don't think a lot of people have seen that side of him, and I'm really excited for people to that different side of Chris.

What the audience will be thinking after seeing the movie

Joke: We have seen it with several audiences from different parts of the world where it has gone to different festivals and first of all, they come out with a very warm feeling.

They come out with a sense of hope, which I think is so important in the world within which we are living, where things are very dark.

And then afterwards, it suddenly hits them: the messages they have been hit with, the quality of the work, the total package, the quality of the cinematography; all the elements come together very nicely. So people love that.

At the end of the day, the subliminally messages come in, and I love that.
