Four days after the return of the King of cocaine, Netflix has renewed "Narcos" for two more seasons.
The series which focuses on the hunt for notorious cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar will return for a third season exclusively on Netflix in 2017.
Set and filmed in Colombia, the series tells the story of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, who became a billionaire through the production and distribution of cocaine. It also focuses on Escobar's interactions with drug lords, DEA agents, and various opposition entities.
The first trailer for the show's first season was released after the prison escape of El Chapo, who is considered the Pablo Escobar of this generation.
Created by Chris Brancato, Eric Newman, and Carlo Bernard, the show stars Wagner Moura as Pablo Escobar, Boyd Holbrook, and Pedro Pascal.
The announcement video, which can be watched below, opens with the face of Escobar and ends with that of Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela.
