Organizers call for entries

The Festival hosts competition in several categories including, short films, feature films, documentaries, animated films, short films of film students.

Filmmakers have until July 30th 2017 to submit their entries via https://filmfreeway.com/festival/AFRIFF.

ALSO READ: undefinedOrganizers are also encouraging entries from French and francophone filmmakers in the following countries; Bénin, Burkina-Faso, Burundi, Cameroun, Central African republic, Comores, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Madagascar, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Rwanda, Sénégal, Seychelles, Chad, Togo and Tunisia.

In its seventh edition which will hold in November, AFRIFF will present a programme featuring more films from French-speaking Africa as well as French films.

The organizers have expressed their wish for its 7th edition to honor France and La Francophonie, in a long-term vision of artistic collaborations and partnerships.

The 2016 AFRIFF ended with a Globe Awards which held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

Anchored by Uti Nwachukwu and Kemi Lala-Akindoju, guests were also entertained by series of Broadway performances featuring Gideon Okeke as Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Adesua Etomi, Osas Ighodaro and A’rese.
