Jagger who already has seven children from previous relationships will welcome his first child with his 29 year old American ballerina Melanie Hamrick in January 2017.

Rolling stones singer Mike Jagger is set to become a father again at the age of 72!

A representative confirmed the news to The Sun that Jagger’s girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick, 29, is pregnant. "This is great news. It will be Mick's eighth child and nothing fazes him. He's been incredibly supportive," the source said.

According to sources, Hamrick knows what a great relationship Mick has with all of his children and can't wait for him to be a dad again. They are taking the news in their stride.

Mick and Melanie were first spotted all loved up on the balcony of his hotel in Zurich in July 2014.

Jagger is already a father to seven children, daughters Karis, Jade, Elizabeth and Georgia; sons James, Gabriel and Lucas, from four previous relationships and has five grandchildren and recently became a great-grandfather.

He was previously married to Bianca Jagger from 1971-78 and was in long-term relationships with Jerry Hall and the late L'Wren Scott.
