Mercy Aigbe wants you all to know that she is still married to Lanre Gentry.

The gorgeous actress was at an event recently and was asked about her marital status and she gave a rather surprising answer'

"I'm still married," she said. We all know who Mercy Aigbe's estranged husband is and well does this mean there might be a reconciliatory move between these two after all. This is not the first time news of possible reconciliation between these two have been speculated.

However, Mercy Aigbe and her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry have spent the whole of 2018 shading each other on social media. At some point, Mercy Aigbe even marked her 'one year anniversary since she encountered domestic violence in failed marriage.

Back in April 2018, Mercy Aigbe is marked the first year anniversary of encountering domestic violencein the hands of her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry. The beautiful actress took to her Instagram page on Monday, April 16, 2018, where she posted a photo of her battered face exactly a year ago when it was reported that her estranged husband, Lane Gentry had assaulted her.

"A year! Thank you, Jehovah for grace, for the spirit of forgiveness, for total healing, for strength and above all for Life!........ You are worthy to be praised          #amazon  #victor #beautyforashes  #mercified," she wrote.

The businessman and hotelier took to his Instagram page where he sent a congratulatory message to the newly wedded actor and his wife on Friday, April 13, 2018.

"My brother congratulations on your wedding, I pray to your marriage and I know God have made your wife the best, not the prostitute that we pretend as wife, ones again congratulations @gabbylucciii God we protect your home in Jesus name," he wrote.
