Legendary Hip-Hop act admits that Buhari is not the way forward

Hip-Hop veteran says President Buhari's administration is not the way forward for the country but he does not regret voting for him.

Legendary Nigerian rapper and producer eLDee The Don, 39, yesterday (August 6, 2016) stated that President Buhari's government is not the way forward for Nigeria.

He expressed his dissatisfaction with the Buhari-led government in a series of tweets. He tweeted "I understand the frustrations. I see how this administration is not helping matters. It was a mistake to think these guys were the way fwd" and also said "Clearly this is not about APC or PDP. All the members of both parties are from the same gang. Personal insult attempts wont change your fate."

eLDee did however say that if he had the chance again he would vote Buhari over former President Goodluck Jonathan. "I did support PMB and if placed in same conditions as the time, I’d do so again. That he is not able to do what we expected is a diff story" he tweeted. He also stated that contrary to popular belief Goodluck Jonathan didn't do much for the entertainment industry. "And notion that GEJ helped the entertainment industry is inaccurate. Regular hand outs to sycophants is not how to help an industry."

On August 2, 2016 eLDee celebrated his wife as she turned a year older. The singer took to Instagram to serenade his wife of eight years.

"Happy birthday to the #1 Lady in my life. My homie lover and best friend!" he wrote while sharing throwback photos of the pair.

The Play Data boss married his sweetheart Dolapo Dabiri in 2008 and their union is blessed with two daughters Temi andToke. He is currently based in Atlanta, USA.
