Why American R&B singer not in Nigeria for Butterscotch Evening

McKnight is a 16-time Grammy Award Nominee and Multiple Platinum selling American singer and multi-instrumentalist.

As opposed to its history of consistency since the maiden edition of Butterscotch Evening was launched in May 2013, the show's organizers have regretfully announced the postponement of the 2015 edition scheduled to hold today, December, 23.

According to a statement by the event's publicist, Bobby Taylor, the postponement was due to the negligence of a booking agent, Mr. Bunmi Jinadu of Interglobe Entertainment, through whom all financial transactions regarding Brian McKnight, the Butterscotch Evening 2015 headliner, were made.

"Butterscotch Evenings has successfully acquired a reputation for delivering the very best of entertainment; never in time past has it failed to deliver the promised performing entertainers to its guests. For the first time we regret to inform you that one of our acts; Brian McKnight will be unable to attend this evening’s event", the statement read.

Butterscotch Evening, an event centered around fine dining, music, fashion and comedy, held its first production on May 17, 2013 at the EKO Convention Center, which automatically set a pace for entertainment production in Nigeria as it assembled the country's finest performers, including Chef Aldo Zilli, Comedian Bill Bellamy, Waje, Johnny Gill, Praiz, Immodesty Blaize.
